-- OK, back, full of leftover Chinese food, dog is fed and happy, lets get back to this. --
alright, killing tigers, collecting bamboo.
This bamboo forest is beautiful.
(And I will admit I was a little bit concerned that (like the Goblin Island) Blizzard might have destroyed the turtle. Which would be horrific, but it would set up a great deal of tension between the Pandaren race and both sides. The sound of Shen-zin Su in pain was troubling and affecting. I definitely had a gut reaction and it made my up coming decision a little easier. I felt a strong sense of relief when the turtle healed.)
Now I have to walk all the way back to the Temple of the Five Dawns. Ah ha! There is a cart, excellent. Lead on brave Nourished Yak.
..M...Master Shang Xi? But how? You smile on us once again. Ding - Level 12! The choice is made. (holy carp, is there something in my eye? There must be, dust from the keyboard or something. *sniff*) Goodbye Shen-zin Su, goodbye adorable elemental spirits, goodbye color saturated environment - it was amazing. |
Stormwind - some interesting reactions from the NPCs to the Pandaren. (I happen to be running through at the same time as a new Deathknight and so mixed in with all of the "what is that?" and " oh, look, a Pandaren" is a guard that screams "Murderer!" I was a little confused for a second. )
*squees* oh my god, oh my god, I get to walk with the king, I get to walk with the king, ...
Dude, that's kind of harsh. Some of my fellow Pandaren are now my enemy just because they work to bring peace to the Horde? And now we're going to fight? I can do this...
Alrighty-then, I guess that's it. I am officially a member of the Alliance.
I am standing in this big foreign city and about to embark on all new adventures. Thank you for coming along on my not-so-little journey.
I hope you have as fun a time as I did in the Pandaren start area.
Lok'tar Ogar!
wait..that's not right...
--Alternate Ending--
I am absolutely not addicted to the Pandaren Start Zone. I did want to run it again, see what I missed and see what it was like to make a different choice. (Mostly, I was just really hoping to knock Garrosh on his ass.) Here's a brief summary of three more hours of my life, three fun and enjoyable hours.
I was still happy to see Master Shang Xi again and was curious where choosing the Horde would take me. No Jojo, though, that made me a little sad.
Well, Garrosh Hellscream is still as much of as an asshole as ever. I even think Ji momentarily reconsidered his choice. And of course Garrosh wouldn't get his hands dirty. I meet him back in the Valley of Honor, and then proceeded to be thrown in an arena with Gormok the Impaler's older, angrier brother and two other monstrosities. |
That is...if I don't get addicted to pet battles...just one more critter, I swear. I can stop at any time...
