Arthropods!

Picture
This is one of the most diverse Phylum in the Animal Kingdom.  It contains over 3/4 of all known animal species. Approximately 1,100,00 species have been identified and equally that many may remain to be discovered.  These guys eat everything.  They are also found in the widest variety of environments - practically everywhere on earth.  While being extremely diverse, they do share these characteristics:
1.  an exoskeleton of chitin
2. segmented bodies
3. jointed appendages

Ok, so we've got:
a. Myriapoda (millipedes and centipedes)
b. Chelicerata (spiders, horseshoe crabs and ticks)
c. Crustacea (Crabs, lobsters and barnacles)
d. Hexapoda (hex = 6 and poda = feet) - so these guys are all the insects "bugs" (butterflies, bees, grasshoppers, ladybugs.)

Mists of Pandaria new animals! - Water Striders! Caterpillars! Grasshoppers!
