Crustaceans

Picture
Everyone in this section is yummy.

Crabs are found in all of the world's oceans, while many crabs live in fresh water and on land, particularly in tropical regions. Crabs vary in size from the pea crab, a few millimeters wide, to the Japanese spider crab, with a leg span of up to 4 meters. There are about 900 species of crabs.

These can be beasts of battle pets (I know they are classified aquatic) but I've had some tough battles against crabs. hmm...I still need to grab screen shots of the cool gnarly looking crabs. Putting on my to do list right now...

I think they look like a Mantis shrimp -->

These little crustaceans have  powerful front claws that they use to spear or stun their prey. The larger shrimp are rumored to have a powerful enough strike that they can break aquarium glass.
