Birds

Picture
There are about 9,700 species of Birds (more than any other vertebrate class except fishes!) and they all share these characteristics:

1. Breathe Air
2. Warm Blooded (with a 4-chambered heart!)
3. Have Feathers (which are made of keratin, same stuff in our hair and fingernails.)
4. have forelimbs modified into wings (though not always used for flight.)
5. Lay Eggs

Migration?

There doesn't seem to be any migration of the bird species in WOW. I mean they have implemented different fish types for winter vs summer...maybe next they can have some birds found in one place in Azeroth one time of the year and then they show up roosting in another part of the world at a different time of year. Especially with the addition of Cranes in Pandaria - Cranes are notorious migrators.  It would be cool to see them in the southern parts of Northrend in the Winter and in Pandaria in the summer, or something similar.
