I Dinged over to lvl33 this morning. It's slow work gaining experience, rest xp seems so hard to build. And if ANYONE knows where I can turn off XP entirely, that'd be awesome. Expansions seem random and often happen abruptly. I definitely have dailies and weeklies, though they don't seem to earn any tangible currencies. Raid bosses are scary and I don't always have the best gear, though I do get crits on occasion. Realm servers are occasionally down for maintenance. My Add-ons get out of date quickly. I've lost my damn hearthstone, so I have to ride everywhere (flying is too expensive, but at least I have epic riding (I love my Subaru.)) Overall, though I don't have the option to log-out, It's a good game...it's also the only one in town.
My reputation goes as follows:
Family - exalted (have tabard, and epic level cooking recipes)
Work - just a few pips away from revered (I wear the Tabard every day, helps gain xp)
Home - I live alone, so it's like being the same race. I can get and use everything I need, even if I am not exalted.
Titles -
- ZooKeeper (working for this one in-game too),
- The Patient
- Jenkins (Don't ask how I earned this one.)
- the Seeker
- of Florida
- of Earth
- the Photographer
- the Dreamer
- Geek Lady of Alderaan
- Rhino Lord
- the Democrat (OK, OK, I know that is a little political, but still true. The question is, am I Horde or Alliance?)
(you may notice no PVP ones are here, my introversion puts many of them out of reach.)
Titles I'm working on: the Explorer, the Diplomat, Champion of the Hot Sandy Wastes (FL), the Author, the Artist, the Followed (twitter), the Liked (Facebook), the Bloggess' Assistant
So, if my hints have been too vague - today is my birthday. I am 33 and life is super busy and awesome. I have the day off and aside from a little work stuff this morning, I have had a relaxing, good day.
I was excited to learn that I share a birthday with Greg Street - Ghostcrawler - birthday wishes, in tweet form, have been sent.
The above picture is the table drawing I drew during lunch at Macaroni Grill. The food was wonderful and I was feeling artsy. I wrote a poem to go with it:
If Rhinos ate pasta,
and I bet that they would;
They'd walk right on in,
if only they could.
The doors are quite narrow,
The chairs, they are small,
and as for utensils,
they don't use forks at all.
So I will take notes,
and fill my own tummy,
then return to work,
and tell them it's yummy.
Now I am home and back to the slightly addicting Pet battles. My Two Pandas are out of the start zones and with their respective factions. I will post the second half of the Panda Start Zone tale next. I am off to relax and have my little creatures violently kill other little creatures.
